A typical product development process is a parallel effort in electronic design, CAD modeling, machining, mould making, third party collaboration and other processes. Most importantly our design and project management experience, in-house facilities and relationship with third parties empower us to build state of the art products under one roof saving time and money.
The first stage of product development is computer model design of product assemblies, machined, stamped or molded parts. Models are designed in full view of being conducive to the manufacturing process on hand. For example, mill cutters directly affect round sections and therefore section radii must match available tools. Plastic models are designed with considerations of optimal wall thicknesses, uniform surfaces, minimal shrinkages, easy mould ejection, mold cooling and design issues. A range of analysis such as mechanical stress analysis, mold flow analysis and such are performed on computer models.
