MANSI RCS Series changeover switches for Carburetor vehicles feature extremely rugged construction and ease of serviceability and reparability. Made entirely out of rugged through hole components, these switches incorporate only those parts that are commonly available in hardware stores, thereby adding convenience in service and repairs. These switches do not include a processor and are made up entirely of discrete electronic components. Features include a progressive five light fuel level display, reserve level being indicated by the first red light. The front panel features a black Gas / Petrol selector switch and a red force-petrol switch. The force-petrol switch can be used for early petrol supply to the engine at the time of changeover from gas to petrol. Design provides for the vehicle RPM signal to be conveniently sensed in three ways: using a capacitive pickup clamp on one of the spark plug cable, or tying IMPULSE cable to ignition coil negative terminal or tying IMPULSE cable to ECU’s RPM output terminal. During fitment these switches should be mounted underneath the dashboard. An adjustment preset enables setting of the gas valve cutoff time delay upon ignition.
